Our closing down sale on the website will stop selling our products on the 1st Feb and you will still have 28 days in order to let us know about any returns or refunds.  Please note our stores will be closing from late Feb through to late March and we will inform you once closure dates are more final.

Our website will still be live for information and updates but products will no longer be available to buy after the 1st Feb 2015.  Please refer to your local store after this date.

Please take time to read our terms and conditions carefully before using this website. By using our website and online store you are agreeing to these terms. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

This website and our Terms and Conditions have been designed for use within the United Kingdom and under UK law.  

All communications between us will be conducted in the English language.  So please note if you do not understand all or any part of these Terms and Conditions, you may not place orders using this website.

 

1- Eligibility & availability

Our site is only intended for use by people resident in the United Kingdom (mainland only) as we are only able to deliver our products to UK mainland addresses. We cannot accept orders from individuals outside the UK unless a UK mainland delivery address is given.

We always try our best to have all our items in stock, all our items out of stock will be labelled as 'out of stock' on our website or might not be displayed.

Our website cannot guarantee that all products seen in our physical shops are available to purchase on the website. However we will continually be adding products to our website, if you are interested in receiving products updates please sign up for our newsletter on the Home page.

 

2- Prices & Voucher/User Discounts

All prices are shown in pound sterling (£). Prices, product descriptions and specifications are checked to the best of our ability, and whilst every effort has been made to make them accurate, mistakes can occur and if you notice any errors in the information given on our site please contact us.

Prices and availability of items are subject to change without notice. All prices are VAT inclusive. A standard delivery charge of £3.00 will be added to your order value unless you choose express delivery or your order value is eligible for free delivery.

Voucher Discount codes are sent and published on a frequent basis through a broad range of distribution methods.  These codes should be entered during the check out process.  Once they are verified your basket total will be amended.  Please note all voucher and user discounts are only applicable to the sub total of the items in your basket.  These discounts cannot and will not be applied directly to any delivery charges.  If you are having trouble with any discount codes please make sure that you are entering it correctly and that it is still with in the date range it was specified for.  If you continue to have problems then please contact us and we will do our best to help you.

Evolution reserves the right to cancel or withdraw any voucher or user discounts at any time with out notice.

 

3- Placing and order 

  • If you are having any problems using this website or you have any questions on how to make a payment/order please feel free to contact us by email or telephone and we will be happy to help.
  • All orders must be placed online through the website using the shopping basket facility provided.
  • Please do not e-mail your card details. No responsibility can be taken for the security of your details if given in this way.
  • Please note that if you order more than one product in a single order then they may be dispatched separately and arrive with you at different times, we will confirm if this is the case.
  • When you place your order please make sure that the shipping address is correct.

By placing an order with Evolution you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with or unclear about any aspect of these terms, please contact our customer services before placing an order by telephone on 01223 868555 or by email at customerservice@evolutionstores.co.uk. All our calls may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes.

Once you have placed an order we will send you a confirmation email that your order has been received, please note that this is not a confirmation that your offer to purchase the items has been accepted. If you do not receive this email please contact our customer service via email customerservice@evolutionstores.co.uk so we may investigate and confirm that your order has been placed successfully.

A contract between you and Evolution for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and despatched to you and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an e-mail that confirms that the item has been dispatched.

Payment of the total purchase price (including VAT and any delivery charges) must be made in full before dispatch of the items.

If for any reason we cannot process your order due to availability of stock or wrong pricing or description you will be contacted with a full explanation and a way to correct your order.

Your order will be delivered by Royal Mail or by our chosen courier. Please note that if the courier is unable to deliver the package because the item is too big for your letterbox they will leave you a card. You will be responsible to contact them to schedule re-delivery or collect from their depot, if the item is returned to us (because royal mail or a courier have been unable to deliver the item), we reserve the right to charge you an additional re-delivery charge.

 

4- Method of payment

You can pay either by Visa (debit/credit), mastercard, maestro, paypal, Visa electron and American Express. We are unable to accept cheques, cash, or postal orders. Orders will only be processed if you provide the card holder's name as it is shown on the card together with the postcode that appears on the card statement. No responsibility can be taken by Evolution for incorrect or incomplete details submitted on the website. Please do not send us payment information using email. Your card transaction is processed through a secure Payment Service Provider (SagePay), we do not retain your card data.

Your card is charged at the time you place the order, though this may take time to show on your account and can vary depaending on the bank you use.

On you're Bank/Card Statements

Payment's will show on your bank and credit card statements as evolution or evolution.co.uk so you can easily identify your payments.

 

5- Delivery information & charges

Orders are processed & dispatched on working days only (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed on the following business day.  Order delivered by Royal Mail & Courier are delivered Monday to Saturdays excluding bank holidays, however orders delivered by courier may also be delivered on Sundays.

Orders received before 2.00 pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched on the same day for Standard and Express delivery options. If you have placed an order after 2.00 pm the order will be processed the following business day.

Please note that during peak seasonal periods orders can take 1 day to process and ship. If our processing times are delayed for any reason we will make every effort to inform you.

Depending on the delivery method you have selected, you should receive your order in no more than 7 days, please be aware that in some cases shipping may be delayed due to circumstances that are out of our control, if for any reason your order has not been received within 7 days please let us know by telephone on 01223 868555 or by email at customerservice@evolutionstores.co.uk.

Our delivery charges are as follows:

UK (mainland only):

  • Standard delivery charge is £3.00 for any weight and size; you should receive your items within 3-5 business days. Your items may be shipped via Royal Mail or our chosen courier at our discretion.
  • Express delivery charge is £5.95 for any weight and size. You should receive your items within 1-2 business days. Your items may be shipped via Royal Mail or our chosen courier at our discretion.

We are offering FREE delivery when you spend £40 or more.

Please note that delivery cannot be made to BFPO (British Forces Post Office ) addresses and these orders will not be processed.

 

6- Refunds and cancellation policy

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a right to cancel your order within 7 working days of receiving your items. You may return your items within 28 days of the purchase date, however you will have to pay the cost of returning the items, unless the items have been approved with our customer service team to be faulty or the wrong item has been delivered.

If you cancel your order, Items must be returned with their original packaging in perfect condition and must be accompanied by the original delivery note. We recommend that you send items by recorded delivery. Please make sure that the items are securely packaged to avoid damage in transit. Please note that in the interests of hygiene we do not accept returns on pierced jewellery unless they are of unsatisfactory quality or unfit for purpose.

Distance selling regulations require us to say that your money will be returned within 30 days of cancellation, however we aim to refund you in a much shorter time.

Refunds will be made to the card you originally used for the purchase. Please note that refunds take around 3 to 5 working days to be credited to card. Depending on the card issuer, it can take up to 20 days for your refund to appear on your statement.

Nothing in these conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

 

7- How to cancel your order

To cancel your order please contact our customer services via email customerservice@evolutionstores.co.uk or write to us as soon as possible within 7 days of receiving your items. You may prefer to talk to us on the phone about your cancellation, though we will require you in addition to this to put it in writing either via email or post. Please remember to quote the order reference number and also provide us with your details. We will then reply to you as soon as possible in how to return your order and receive a refund.

We would appreciate if you could provide us a brief explanation of why you want to cancel your order to help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.

Items must be returned with their original packaging and must be accompanied by the original delivery note. We recommend that you send items by recorded delivery.  Please note cancelling your order will require you to send your items back to us at your own cost.

Our customer services will send you an e-mail to confirm the cancellation. We will also notify you by e-mail when we have processed your refund to your card.

Once we have received your returned items, we will then process your refund excluding the delivery charge that you paid.  Please note that refunds take around 3-5 working days to be credited to your payment card. Depending on the card issuer, it can take up to 20 days for your refund to appear on your statement.

 

8- Faulty and damaged items

If the item is faulty or damaged we are happy to send you a refund in full (including the original postage charge) or replacement where available. Please notify us within 7 days of receiving your order by email customerservice@evolutionstores.co.uk or in writing providing details of the problem.  You may prefer to talk to us on the phone about your cancellation, though we will require you in addition to this to put it in writing either via email or post. Please remember to quote the order reference number and also provide us your details and a photo where possible of the damage to the item and/or packaging, and please tell us whether you would like a replacement or refund.

Please note items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

If you would like us to replace your item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product. You will receive a full refund if the item cannot be replaced; however if you don’t wish to receive a replacement and wish to return the faulty item for a full refund please let us know.

You may return your purchase to us for a replacement or full refund within 14 days of the invoice date. We will provide a prepaid freepost label for you to send us the faulty item back.  Please return the item in their original packaging including the original delivery note.

Once we have received your returned item we will send you a confirmation email for your refund or replacement.

 

9- Wrong items dispatched

Although we try our best to get your orders correct each time, if we have sent you the wrong item, please notify us within 7 days of receiving your order by email customerservice@evolutionstores.co.uk or in writing. Please remember to quote the order reference number and please tell us whether you would like us to resend you the correct item or receive a refund.

You will be required to return the wrongly sent items to us in perfect condition within 14 days of the invoice date. Items must be returned in their original packaging including the original delivery note. We will provide a prepaid freepost label so you can send the item back to us.

We cannot accept items for a refund or exchange if they are not in perfect condition. Please make sure that the items are securely packaged to avoid damage in transit.

If you choose to get a full refund, we will refund your purchase onto the card you originally used for the purchase. Please note that refunds take around 3 to 5 working days to be credited to card. Depending on the card issuer, it can take up to 20 days for your refund to appear on your statement.

 

10- Privacy & Signing up to Evolution Marketing Material

Signing up to our newsletter means you will receive marketing information from Evolution Stores only.  This will include Newsletters, Promotions, Offers, News and Features.

Rest assured we will not share your contact details with any third parties and they will only be used for the above purposes.

We aim to acknowledge by email any emailed or mailed complaint within 2 working days, and to conclude our investigations as soon as possible thereafter.

 

12- Site uptime

All reasonable measures are taken by us to ensure that this Website is operational all day, every day. However, occasionally technical issues may result in some downtime and accordingly we will not be liable if this website is unavailable at any time.
Where possible we always try to give advance warning of maintenance issues that may result in Website down time but we shall not be obliged to provide such notice.  If you do notice any technical errors with our website we would very much appreciate you taking the time to let us know.
